Connect with local nonprofits and agencies working to build a healthier Outer Banks, including the Dementia Friendly Coalition, Children & Youth Partnership, Community Care Clinic and Dare County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office will collect unused and unwanted prescriptions and animal medications for safe disposal. Information and support for Advance Care Planning will also be available.
Free flu vaccines for adults ages 18–64 and wellness screenings, including blood pressure, heart rate, cholesterol and blood sugar checks, will also be offered.
